Patient Of The Month For August

IMG_1908This months Patient of the month is the lovely Virginia Percival. Her determination to succeed in her knee rehabilitation has inspired us all!

From Virginia: My experience at Bend + Mend over the last year has been nothing but welcoming and professional.
From the time I entered through the doors of Bend + Mend for the first time (when I could barely walk) was such a welcoming feeling which made the beginning of my physio treatment so much easier.
Thanks to the fine physio services and treatment of Ben, my Physio, I have moved ahead in leaps and bounds literally, as mentioned I could barely walk – Ben prepared me to have surgery on my knee and now with his expertise post my surgery I have recovered extremely well and I am sure such recovery would have not been as good without his fine physio services –I have recommended him to others as Ben is just the Best!
Many thanks Ben for taking such good care of me.

And from Ben: Virginia has come a long way in the time that I have seen her at Bend + Mend. Virginia’s determination and dedication to reach her goals must be commended. Although the initial radiograph results were somewhat disconcerting, the decision was made to undergo relatively minor knee surgery rather than a knee replacement. Pre-operatively, she prepared herself as best she could by sticking to our exercise plan which set her up for greater success post-operatively. It hasn’t been all smooth sailing, with the occasional curve ball, but now Virginia is able to do everything she’d hoped to be able to do without pain. She continues to manage her knee with regular hydrotherapy and we are hopeful that her knee has plenty of kilometres to go!
