At Bend + Mend, we offer a comprehensive Running Assessment that is designed to cater for all needs. Whether you’re new to running or a seasoned marathoner; if you’d like to help a particular problem or purely improve your performance.

  • A comprehensive functional and biomechanical assessment
  • Video analysis of your running pattern
  • Advice on technique, training methods and which exercises would be most beneficial for you

During the assessment, we use specific markers on certain landmarks of the body (pelvis, knees, ankles etc.) and video your running pattern, including upper body motion, hip position, leg control and foot biomechanics. We analyze the video in slow-motion to evaluate your technique and also give you the opportunity to see how your body is moving when you run. This guides us in providing you with key information and exercises that your might need.
