Our patient of the month for September has worked extremely hard after surgery to get where he is today: Congratulations Tom!
From Campbell: “Tom presented post operatively following an ACL reconstruction as well as having torn cartilage and an MCL tear which he injured playing soccer earlier in the year. Tom has taken to rehabilitating himself like the proverbial duck to water. He is keen to experiment with variations in exercises, eager with his home exercises and has a positive attitude to the length of rehabilitation that comes with reconstructive knee surgery. Tom is returning to sports specific training ahead of schedule and he would be on par with an elite athlete in a sport specific environment. A testament to him completing his weekly program objectives. Well done Tom, we are proud of your work!
And from Tom: “After a pretty grim knee injury rupturing my ACL as well tearing my MCL and both meniscus’ I arrived at Bend and Mend knowing it was the beginning of a long and painful road to get back to what I enjoy most and being out on the sporting field. From day one Campbells been awesome and I’ve always felt like I’m making progress every session despite the slow nature of the recovery. Having a continually evolving program and exercises is a great reflection of his knowledge and passion for his work. 4 months down the track and I’m already running and back in the gym pushing my knee everyday. Big thanks to the whole team, I cannot recommend them highly enough!!
