Principal Physiotherapist

Mark Kaizik

Mark is one of the founding principals of Bend + Mend and has spent over 25 years working as a physiotherapist in Sydney’s CBD. He holds a postgraduate Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is an APA Titled Physiotherapist, a distinction held by only a small percentage of physiotherapists in Australia, recognising advanced knowledge and clinical skill in musculoskeletal practice. Mark also completed his a PhD at the School of Medical Sciences, University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is one of the founders of DiTA (Diagnostic Test Accuracy) database, a free database that indexes primary studies of diagnostic test accuracy for Physiotherapists. A member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and AHPRA registered, Mark has a wealth of experience in both Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy and provides mentoring to the Bend + Mend Team.

Mark brings a depth of experience that is genuinely hard to find, and his patients consistently benefit from his ability to cut through complexity and find clear, effective pathways to recovery. He sees a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and has a particular passion for knee injuries, lower back pain, and nerve-related conditions. Over two decades of private practice in the CBD has given him exceptional clinical exposure, and that experience shows in the confidence and clarity he brings to even the most challenging presentations. Mark loves what he does, and it genuinely comes through every time you sit down with him.
